EatOut’s Founder, Mikul Shah, Among Business Daily’s Top 40 Under 40 Men

Mikul Shah, EatOut’s Founder and Director was feted on today’s Business Daily Top 40 Under 40. Mikul, who founded EatOut from an idea born over a dinner conversation has grown the startup over the last six years to become the leading restaurant guide in East Africa.

The company has evolved adding a food magazine, Yummy Magazine, which distributes 12,000 copies monthly, under its portfolio, expanded to Uganda, Rwanda and will be launching in Tanzania in 2017. EatOut has since seen an average revenue growth of 40% per annum and is on course to hit the Ksh. 101 million ($1million) annual revenue target.

He has also invested in a number of start-ups such as the loyalty and gift card firm eGift Africa and SleepOut.com and accommodation booking portal.
