The most anticipated fashion event of the year, Fashion High Tea, is back for the 7th edition at Zen Garden this Saturday, 25th February from 2pm to 8pm. This annual event is held to celebrate Haute Couture in Kenya and it brings together the who’s who from the fashion industry.
With tickets going for Ksh. 6,500, guests will be treated to an elaborate High Tea menu in an intimate setting courtesy of Zen Garden which will include a sushi bar, cheese corners, ice cream bars and burger stations. There will also be beer, wine, champagne & cocktail Bars for the guests to enjoy. True to FHT fashion, there will be an extravagant runway showcasing local and international designer labels at the lush gardens.
Each year, proceeds from Fashion High Tea support various local causes. This year they will be supporting Imani’s Children’s Home in Kayole – a home that educates, nurtures and transforms the lives of abandoned and orphaned children, as well as Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO), – a grassroots movement that catalyzes large-scale transformation in urban slums (Kibera, Mathare & Mukuru) by providing critical services for all and education and leadership development for women and girls.
