Proudly known as the only city hotel by the game park, Ole Sereni announced plans to develop a new conference hotel right adjacent to the existing complex along Mombasa road. In a bid to raise the bar in the hospitality industry and tap into the gap in events and conference establishments, this development comes at a time when Kenya’s tourism sector is facing difficult times.
The move, however aims to improve Nairobi as a destination and as a result contribute to the travel industry. The project which is set to take a total of two and half years to complete will see the construction of a new complex with an 800-1000 seater conference capacity, 500 vehicle parking space as well as urban guest rooms and apartments.
Partnering with Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), this project is estimated to cost $21 Million (Ksh. 2 Billion) and is expected to enhance the value of the existing Ole Sereni as well as create numerous opportunities in entrepreneurship, the service industry and employment.

Mr. Samuel Makome, KCB Chief Business Officer and Managing Director mentioned that they are confident about Kenya’s economy and the future it has, adding that they are ready to overcome any challenges that may arise in the course of the development of the complex.
